Okinawa’s Recommended Fast Food: Delicious Taco Rice!
If you’re traveling around Okinawa Main Island, there’s one fast food dish you absolutely have to try: Taco Rice!
About a 10-minute drive from the “KIN” interchange on the expressway, you’ll find a famous spot called “King Tacos（The original location）.” Their portions are generous, and it’s incredibly delicious! 😋
King Tacos is the Okinawan fast food restaurant that created Taco Rice.
We have several locations but the original store is in Kin town.
You can eat in the restaurant, but takeout is also available. I highly recommend getting it to-go and enjoying it with a view of the ocean—it’s the best experience!

While there are several restaurants in Okinawa that serve Taco Rice, and regular Taco Rice is certainly tasty… What I really want you to try is their “Taco Chikin Fried Rice Cheese Vegetables!”
And just so you know, this special dish is only available at the original Kin location!
The standard Taco Rice usually comes with plain white rice, but this special version uses chicken fried rice, making it even more flavorful and satisfying!
And here’s a pro-tip!!
The portions are massive, so the one packet of taco sauce that comes with it is definitely not enough. I strongly recommend buying three extra packets to make sure you have plenty.
